I love your quotes. I love the letter to the parents, the section that says that parents can offer and give their children love, but they can not give them opinions or thoughts, because they are their own person. That is beautiful. We, as educators are helping our students polish and shine their beautiful personalities to become wonderful individuals.
Reem, the quote for teachers is one of my favorites. It is something that I live by as an educator. I also love the letter to parents. It is important that we let parents know that they are partners in educating children. Thank you so much for all of your wonderful professional advice and feedback. I always enjoy reading your post and comments because I know that I will always be inspired. You are truely a wonderful and passionate educator and I wish you the best.
Reem, it has been a pleasure reading your blog. Your first quote is so true. All parents and early childhood professionals should strive to help children love reading and learning by modeling and by using developmentally appropriate practice. Pushing children to learn too early and too fast often creates children who do not want to learn. You are a true professional in the field of early childhood. Maybe we will meet again in another class. Fondly, Cindy
